The Panchayat Steering Committee is the most important committee constituted to coordinate the activities of the various Standing Committees in Kerala's Grama Panchayats, formulate overall policies for the Panchayat, and expedite administrative matters and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the activities of the various Standing Committees of the Panchayat.
- Finalize the agenda to be presented before the Panchayat Governing Body meetings.
- Review the Panchayat's overall development activities, projects, and financial matters.
- Recommend solutions to resolve differences of opinion or disputes that may arise among the various committees.
